STOP THE BLEED TRAINING and
WHY IT'S IMPORTANT
The primary goal of Stop the Bleed training is to equip, train, and empower individuals to act before professional help arrives. By learning these skills, participants can make a life-or-death difference in accidents, disasters, or mass casualty events.
Participants in Stop the Bleed courses learn three key bleeding control techniques:
- Direct Pressure
- Wound Packing
- Tourniquet Application
Stop the Bleed courses are typically 90 minutes and can be tailored for houses of worship, schools, or community groups.
The Sacramento UASI offers Stop the Bleed training once to twice each year, so please send us an email for more information by going to our Contact Us page.
